Gelukkig is dat eenvoudig. Wij raden aan om uw product ongeveer twee keer per jaar in te wrijven met wat olijfolie of de door ons geleverde bijenwas om de beschermlaag te behouden. Dit zal de levensduur van onze producten nog verder verlengen.

For life, to create products that last a life time is one of our core values. We don’t believe in needless consumption or fast-fashion. Our products have the class and beauty to last you a lifetime. So make sure to rub them down twice a year with some olive oil and enjoy them to the fullest.

Our wood comes from old olive trees that don’t produce olives anymore. Every piece of wood coming from one of these trees has a unique signature and shape, causing every single of one of our products to differ a little from one another. The product you receive thus could be a little different, however the design we follow during our manufacturing process is the same for every product 😊. All of our products are made by hand and we try and match the design in such a way that the richness of the olive wood shows optimally.

We strongly discourage putting your product in the dishwasher. When you put in the dishwasher there is a serious chance of damaging the wood. You should try and avoid long exposure to hot water. Our products are cleaned best with some lukewarm water, a soft brush and some soap.

Yes, sustainability is among our top priorities. The wood we use comes from trees that no longer bare fruit. These trees are often between a hundred tot wo hundred years old! We try as best as we can to reflect the age and beauty in our products.
